in AToM Ethernet to HDLC is possible?

Hi there,

I'd like to connect Ethernet to HDLC by using AToM any-to-any method.

The topology is as below

L3 Switch (CE) ----- C7600 (ES+20 : Ethernet) ---- MPLS Cloud ---- C7200 (PA-8T-V.35 : Serial) ---- C2600 (CE)

as you see, on the left side, the AC(Attachment Circuit) is Ethernet, on the right side, the AC is Serial.

I know that it is possble to connect between Ethernet and PPP.  But I'd like to connect HDLC from Ethernet not PPP.

if I don't use AToM any to any, How can I offer Layer 2 connection to two CE having different interface type (Ethernet and HDLC)

If you use IP interworking option, it should work.

But according to MPLS document I've read, there is no option to connect Ethernet and HDLC.

(FYI, I've attached the table)

Only there is a option between Ethernet and HDLC.

Could you show me how to connect beween Ethernet and HDLC or document link?

Sorry, I replied too fast and should have done my homework better ;-)

I confirmed it's not supported either with AToM or L2TPv3. Your best chance would be to change the encaps from HDLC to PPP.
