Hi All,
We are trying to understand the way QOS works on inter-AS VPN option C deployment. Assuming there are three MPLS vendors, name it as SP1,SP2 and SP3. The customer site are hanging between SP1 and SP3,Where SP2 act as a pass through (i.e C1-SP1-SP2-SP3-C2)......How the QOS mapping with EXP would be carried to SP2 and SP3...The basic reason to understand this is,Whether SP2 needs to know about EXP marking of SP1,so that end to end QOS would be acheived for this customer.
Any help would be really appreciated.
Thanks

it should be kind of sla between all CEs and ISPs because without the knowledge from one sp to other sp the marking will be changed and the end to end QOS will will be out of order
especially between ISPs

Complex coordination between providers:
Number of classes
Markings
SLAs
⢠End user may receive least
common denominator
⢠MPLS DiffServ tunnel modes
supports CsC hierarchies
⢠Tunnel modes my differ at
Inter-AS different levels in a hierarchy
please, Rate if helpful
