What does ! mark means in show mpls forwarding output

Hi Atif,
Can you please paste complete output of the command? and which router and ios version you are using?
Because normally in cisco router output of "show mpls forwarding" is as below in which prefix comes after in/out label
but in your outout prefix is before in/out label.
R2#sh mpls forwarding-table
Local Outgoing Prefix Bytes Label Outgoing Next Hop
Label Label or VC or Tunnel Id Switched interface
16 Pop Label 1.1.1.1/32 0 Et0/0 172.31.12.1

here is the command, it seems that ! marks is next best route.
