We have 3 ONSs connected in 3 different cities by fibre. These ONS have ML-Series card for ethernet connection. My questions are:
1. Can I use the ONS as my P-router?
2. Can I run OSPF on the ONS as the IGP protocol (especially on POS connecting the ONS)?. If Yes, is it the best option or there are better alternatives?
3. Considering that my VPN customers are mainly banks and they don't require Internet connectivity. what kind of IP addressing structure will I require to service other customers that require Internet (Public IP vs Private; or both)?
4. Considering our growing small network, how do I obtain public AS number and more block of IP address, to address future IP peering and scalability.
I need advise on this MPLS deployment.
