Hi all

I want to connect all of my branches via MPLS service from one of the available providers

What am thinking of is using VPLS for branches connectibvity

Now my concern is two things : security (how to protect from my side even though am using only IP only , and how to propose or force the provider to deploy certain features)

The second thing is to use QoS as am using voice , video and data , should I deploy QoS from my side , or from the provider side and if from provider side what best technique to follow

Hi mkhalil10,

If you choose VPLS for branches connectivity you need to think about the number of MAC addresses allowed by the Provider. in most cases, just few number is allowed.

For scalability, i think L3VPN will be good solution.

For QoS, you need to purchase QoS service from the provider and choose the most adapted service pack to your requirement and also deploy it in your side between the central site and remote sites.
