Hello Ibrahim,

MPLS-TP was created by transmission guys that didn't want to use standard MPLS for political reasons.

There has been a lot of discussions about the opportunity to introduce another not compatible standard like MPLS TP is.

Later, vendors like Cisco had to support it for customer requests, but I think a modern service provider can live without using MPLS TP.
