I would like to understand the concept of Cisco MPLS Tunnels comparing to Huawei Tunnels.
Huawei way:
1. User configures tunnel-interface which describes interface itself and unidirectional tunnel which starts on this interface. All attributes of the Interface and Tunnel are configured here. For example bandwidth, hold priority, setup priority and especially signal type which can be rsvp-te or sr-te.
This tunnel can use one LSP (Working) or two LSPs (Working and Protection)
2. As the next step user configures kind of a tunnel trail which can be:
- unidirectional and uses one tunnel-interface
- bidirectional and uses two tunnel-interfaces in opposite directions
How is it working in Cisco ? Is there any document how to configure tunnel interface, signal type, tunnel ?
