Hi,
i met a very strange phenomena: R1(CE)---OSPF--R2(PE)
they can see routes each other, but CE can't ping the PE routes in its routing table
R1#sh ip ro
1.0.0.0/32 is subnetted, 1 subnets
C 1.1.1.1 is directly connected, Loopback0
2.0.0.0/32 is subnetted, 1 subnets
O 2.2.2.2 [110/2] via 12.0.0.2, 00:01:56, FastEthernet0/0
12.0.0.0/24 is subnetted, 1 subnets
C 12.0.0.0 is directly connected, FastEthernet0/0
R1#
R2(config-if)#do sh ip ro vrf vpn
1.0.0.0/32 is subnetted, 1 subnets
O 1.1.1.1 [110/2] via 12.0.0.1, 00:00:00, FastEthernet0/0
2.0.0.0/32 is subnetted, 1 subnets
C 2.2.2.2 is directly connected, Loopback0
12.0.0.0/24 is subnetted, 1 subnets
C 12.0.0.0 is directly connected, FastEthernet0/0
R2(config-if)#
R1#p 2.2.2.2
Type escape sequence to abort.
Sending 5, 100-byte ICMP Echos to 2.2.2.2, timeout is 2 seconds:
.....
Success rate is 0 percent (0/5)
R1#
no special configuration to block the traffic ever made?
anybody knows why?
thanks in advance!

Hi,
can you ping 12.0.0.2 from R1, and 12.0.0.1 from R2, ospf routes seem to be normal to me, there could be some filtering or L2 issue, please show us the output of following commands:
on both R1,R2:
show run int f0/0

Could be icmp replies are blocked. Can u debug and post the details.
