Outgoing label = No label

Dears,

we have the attached diagram.

I have a problem in the routing between the the two CPEs that are on green VRF, while the red VRF routing is working fine. Even though I have implemented the configuration similar.

Note:

1- the configuration on PE are similar,

2- Whenever I advertise subnets from CPE I can see the routing on the other CPE via BGP.

3- Problem when I tried to ping between Green's CPE the trace stop on the PE.

I  have noticed on the P output that the outgoing label for the PE connected CPE green on the lift side has ( NO label) while other PE connected to red CPE on the right has a POP label.

1- Is this can caused a routing issue?

2- How this can be resolved?

Hello,first of all, can you

Hello,

first of all, can you try an mpls ping in the core.

ping mpls ipv4 <remote_pe_loopback> 255.255.255.255

If the ping goes fine, that means the LSP is complete.

As a next step, from the PE connected to the CPE, capture the below output:

- show ip cef vrf green <dest_prefix> det

- show mpls for vrf green <dest_prefix>

Capture the above outputs from both the local as well as remote PE.

it would be great if you can share the config of all both PE and CPE devices (both sides).

Hope this helps.

Vinit

Thanks

Hi,I  have noticed on the P

Hi,

I  have noticed on the P output that the outgoing label for the PE connected CPE green on the lift side has ( NO label) while other PE connected to red CPE on the right has a POP label.

From above, it appears that the LDP between P and left-side-PE is broken. In addition to what Vinit mentioned, can you also check if the LDP session between P and left-side-PE is UP?.

On P router and left-side-PE router, try the below,

show mpls ldp neighbor

show mpls ldp discovery
