Hi,
I am getting the following error message on the MPLS-PE router. As there are lot of customers with same ip address (in different vrf) how do I trace which customer is sending the snmp requests. Is there any quick method to resolve this issue.
Sep 10 13:14:49: %SNMP-3-AUTHFAIL: Authentication failure for SNMP req from host 192.168.100.10
Thanks,
Silju

Hi Silju,
I don't think that this customer is behind any of your vrf, it should have a direct ip connectivity to your network........ so check in your network do you have any pc or server which is sending/doing snmp to your box with that ip address.....
Rate if it does,

Hi Balaji,
Thanks for your reply. Its coming from a vrf.We dont use 192.168.0.0 range anywhere in the network. We use that subnet only for customers.

I think you should execute a debug command.get more details
