VPN routing issues

Hello,

I have an scenario where I have a customer using a private AS number that is sending some IP prefixes. I am recieving these prefixes on a PE Router. On the same PE Router I have to send this same prefixes to another customer using another private AS number. There is BGP running with both customers.

The issue here is that this PE Router is NOT sending the IP Prefixes to the other customer.

I dont know if there is a problem with this, I mean, Can a PE Router send some IP prefixes received from a customer, to another customer on the same router?

Let me know any comments that you have.

Thanks!

Exchanging routes between two customers is something that is very commonly used in extranet scenarios.

Make sure that the VRF of the customer where you want to receive the routes imports the route-target cofigured on the other customer's VRF.

Hope this helps,
