Xconnect - interface vlan

Hello,

Can i create Xconnect (OVER MPLS NETWORK) Tunnel between physical interface to interface Vlan on the other site ?

For example :

site 1 :

interface GigabitEthernet7/2.88
description Xconnect Site 1
encapsulation dot1Q 88 
xconnect 1.1.1.2 88 encapsulation mpls

Site 2 : 

interface Vlan 88

description Xconnect Site 2
ip address 192.168.2.2 255.255.255.0

xconnect 1.1.1.1 88 encapsulation mpls

is anyone tried this type of setup ?

hi, in my case it is not working, do I need to open another thread or I can carry on here?

I am using below hardware to create SVI but it is showing unknown in MTU.

cisco CISCO7609 (R7000) processor

1 SIP-200 controller .
1 SSC-400 controller .
4 Virtual Ethernet interfaces
78 Gigabit Ethernet interfaces
