Ok. Try this from the cli:

application reset-configuration ise

Be be sure to answer “n” when it asks you

Retain existing ISE server certificates? (y/n)

Have you tried issuing this command from CLI:

application reset-passwd ise admin (or the username that you are using)

In addition to what Neno said...

If you re-imaged (rebuilt the ISE appliance from ISO) you should not be seeing that error (assuming you followed the installation guide).

Be sure to not change the admin username when running the ISE cli setup. You can add other usernames later but must retain the admin username as well.

Hello Guys

Thanks for Answering me

I did reset for password , still getting the same error

thanks

Are you getting the ISE login page at all or only that error message?

Please confirm you are using the username admin.

Hello Mr Marvin

just the Login error , i am not able to get to ISE Login page

we only have admin account on the box , no other , i did reset from CLI , but same issue

thanks

Ibrahim

Ok. Since you’re not even getting the login GUI it has nothing to do with the user credentials.

Can you you confirm that you are accessing the appliance or VM via interface Gig0? The admin GUI only responds on that interface and the error message you mentioned will appear if you try to access it via any other interface.

Hello Mr Marvin
