I get an error when installing ACS on VMware Player (not VMware Workstation). The error is "specified disk sda in partition command which does not exist." I found this: https://supportforums.cisco.com/thread/201443 which explains to use the LSI Adapter instead of BusLogic. The problem is, I don't have this option when creating a new HDD or when I go into the advanced settings after creating the new HDD.
Is it possible to install ACS 5.3 in the free version, VMware Player? Maybe there's some .vmx magic someone has figured out...
Thanks!

Yes. Possible.
When Creating the VM choose that you'll install the OS later. Dont let the vm automatically detect the OS.

That is what I chose. Then I mounted the CD, removed the SCSI HDD and added an IDE HDD. Like I said before, the installation fails with, "specified disk sda in partition command which does not exist."

Thanks partner. I was entering 60 for HDD size. Wow... can't believe that was all.
