Hello all,
Is it possible to use Catalyst 2950 switches as Agent hosts for RSA Securid tokens ?
I have been asked to investigate Securid authentication for LAN users and I need a device which all pc's pass through to act as an agent host and redirect traffic to an ACE server.
Has anyone else ever come across a situation like this?
regards
Richard

I have used routers to authenticate to Secure-ID servers through a Radius server but haven't tried securid tokens with the switch.

If I don't understand wrong you are trying to authenticate users connected to 2950 via ACE server but not the switch authentication itself. If this is the case 802.1x implementation might help. In Radius/TACACS use external database as ACE server once you implement 802.1x in the switch.
This link might help (search with 802.1x 2950 in CCO)
