3620 Hangs. Need help

Hello,

I have a Cisco 3620 box with NM 1FE-2CE1 and NM-30DM. I am using it as a RAS. It has 32 MB RAM and IOS is 11.1 (20) AA2. It hangs and stops responding than we have to reload it by force. Please help me in this regard. Should I upgrade its RAM upto 64 MB or upgrade IOS. If upgrade IOS is the solution than plz indicate correct version also.

Hi Shahnawaz,

With so many versions of IOS possible for your router, you're going to get as many different IOS versions as there are people answering your post.

If you hit this link (you'll need Cisco.com access):

You should be able to walk through the questions and narrow it down to a viable IOS version (I'd suggest something in 12.2 or maybe 12.3 if you have the RAM).

If you could upgrade your RAM, then your options are much more open.
