HI,
Whenever I tried to do backup of CiscoWorks from GUI, I am receiving a error message"Backup failed. ERROR(292): C:\PROGRA~1\CSCOpx/backup.LOCK file exists, please look into the log file C:/PROGRA~1/XCSCOpx/log/dbbackup.log for more details". backup.LOCK file size is 0KB.

if there is no backup running and you need a new backup,
-stop the LMS
-delete the lock file
-start the LMS
-try the backup (make sure you have the needed space).
