Cisco 3640 Router running only over half-duplex and DHCP Client problem

Hi guys. I recently bought a 3640 and when configuring i realised i cant make fa3/0 to run over full duplex mode. Only Half-Duplex Option. Already tried full duplex mode in the interface and it doesn´t recognize the comand.n The interface is a 10/100 so i dont see why i cant do it.

And there is also a thing about dchp client on a interface, it just doesnt recognize the command... Is it about the 12.0 ios version? or is a hardware issue?.

Thanks for reading !!

Hi Lucas

The ip address dhcp interface command was introducted in IOS version 12.1(2)T. The ip dhcp client command was introduced in 12.3(2)XF. You mention that you are running IOS 12.0 so the solution to this particular one is to upgrade your code.

How to Ask The Cisco Community for Help

Hi Lucas

Regarding the duplex, please try an older ios command duplex-full or no half-duplex on the interface.
