Cisco 3845 SNMP

Hello All

when using SNMP on our cisco 3845 the traffic logs are set to refresh every 1 second but the data seems to come in 5 sec burst

so does not some a real time status of the interface throughput

any ideas?

Hi,

Are you trying to say when you poll the device , the response time is slow from the device ?

its seem like it is not polling it correctly for example

on a 2600 router which is set to poll every second you see the interface throughput at 100mb/sec

but on the 3845 it is set to poll every second but will show no throughput at all then after a few seconds shows a burst of 600mb/sec
