Hello.. does anyone know the meaning of this log message in a 7609 router - "SP: FAILED to write to DS1338 RTC device"?
So far as I can tell DS1338 RTC is supposed to be a (linux-related?) clock but I don't see how that's related to the router.

Unfortunately no. I'm assuming it's related to some kind of Unix clock system. Still getting the error and no idea how to troubleshoot. Not a lot of related info available.
Please update if you find anything.

I already replace all sup and CK7600. but still facing.

I haven't found anything as yet. Still getting the same error but it doesn't seem to be affecting the router. Am still searching for information.

My customer very serious about the log.

Noticed the same log messages in 7609.
Did anyone found the reason? Is it a chassis problem?

I experienced this as well. Check out BugID CSCts20541
The clock on my RP and SP looked fine.

Conditions:
None
Workaround:Disable Logging.
More Info:There is no operational impact due to this issue.
