Hi,
I have a Cisco 866VAE-K9 and wanna reset it to its factory settings. It was configured but I don't know the password. So I tried to press the reset button and the router recognized it. But after that it boots in the old config and doesn't reset. It also shows the old hostname.
Tried it 3 to 4 times but it don't want to work. So power it up press the reset button and wait for 10 - 15 seconds. Am I doing something wrong? I don't know how to reset it without knowing the old password when the reset button isn't working for me.
