cisco CCNA/CCNP Lab example

Hi,

Just wanted to ask if anyone could help me with building a cisco CCNA lab that I could also use later to learn for the CCNP.

I have seen this question asked a few times on the forum but they all look like outdated posts. I have also looked at websites that sell CCNA LAB KITS but i`m not sure how much i can trust the gear that they sell. Not sure if anyone is updating those labs with the passing years.

Is there anyone here that is looking to pass their CCNA CCNP ? What labs do you have or what would you like to get ?

Thank you

For CCNA I always recommended free Packet tracer software simulator from Cisco Academy before moving onto the real gear;  PT is very simple and flexible software written to simulate IOS behavior;  it has all you need to pass CCNA exam despite the fact that it is just a simulator.   Exam focus on networking fundamentals and knowledge of commands (CLI) but not testing you on deep stuff or on real IOS behavior that would require real gear.   Using PT properly you can learn networking fundamentals very well and that will help you later when going for advanced certifications.

you should start you journey at CLN, https://learningnetwork.cisco.com/s/ccna

you can find CCNA exam info, PT and gear topics, and others. You can get PT for free (just start their lab 1) from Net academy via https://www.netacad.com/courses/packet-tracer

Best of Luck!

Best way to attend high rated study material to learn networking topics and buy one powerful machine to do virtual labs. only networking labs make perfect networking person. you use GNS3 or some alternate networking simulation application.
