Hi Guys,
I have a question regarding CDP.
Does CDP work between 2 wireless cisco devices or it just works on directly connected cisco devices?
Suppose 2 Cisco Routers are connected though a satellite link. In that case, can they know each other's info?
Thanks,
Arif Tanvir.

CDP requires a layer 2 connection to establish the neighbor adjacency. There are some tricks to do that across a WAN (i.e. using a GRE tunnel and enabling CDP on the tunnel interface) but generally a WAN link "breaks" a CDP neighbor chain.

Hello,
On Access Points, CDP is enabled on the radio interface only if this is connected to another infrastructure device such as another AP or Bridge.
As said by Mr, Marvin it is a layer 2 technology, it doesnot depend the upon the media you are using....
