Hi,
We are looking at implementing a network management tool at a remote site. I am investigating all possibilities and stumbled across Cisco's NetManager which looks like it ticks all the boxes, with one exception - according to the announcements section it has gone end of life. Is this correct ? Do Cisco have any plans to replace this product or are they simply going to push for a smaller LMS deployments ?
Thanks in advance.
Chris.

Are you sure that the end of life speaks about netmanager in general?
Not just a version 1.0 or a 1.1 of the product going end of life?
Cheers,
Michel

It does appear to be a deadend product, according to the EoL announcement of v1.1:
The Product Migration Option is "Customers are encouraged to migrate to the perpetual right-to-use license for Cisco netManager 1.1."
Of course, given most businesses are reluctant to operate End-of-[anything] products, the "perpetual"ness may last at most until April 26, 2012 - Last Date of Support.
