Hi,

Currently in our company running Cisco Prime Version : 3.4.0 Build : 3.4.0.0.348.

Monitoring police for CUP Utilization is 15 min Use System Default 90%.

Which mean alarm will generate as minor.

But we receive the alert as Critical and CPU Utilization threshold condition. Threshold limit: 90. Current value: 97 - Automonitoring. Device Health.

In graph it's never go beyond 40% of utilization.

is there any idea why we receive the alarm as 90% and in device never go beyond 40%.

pls see in attach.

Appreciate for your help.

Looking at the attached images I'm thinking that your graph is showing an average value while the alarm is referring to an instantaneous value sampled every 15 minutes. Look at the 60 second or 60 minute historical CPU usage directly at the device in question instead of Prime, does it correlate with the alarm there?

Really appropriate for your help. i will check at device.
By the way to see that spike utilization should i change it to 1 min instead of 15 min.
If i change it to 1 min will it be impact to network performance to pulling the data every 1 min.
Thanks again.
