Hi Experts,
I am using PI 2.2 to monitor the cisco switches in my network.
And recently my customer want to monitor two dell Edge server from PI. Therefore,
I configured the SNMP on Dell servers and I discovered from PI.
PI is showing those Dell servers as Call manger device types and reachable , syn is completed after discovered.
Then , I disconnected those dell servers from network for testing but in PI is still showing device is reachable and I don’t see any events regarding those server.
Could you advise me? Is there any licenses to add to monitor those servers. Or PI only provide the Cisco Products?
Thank you.
Best Regards,
VT

Hi Vector
The list of devices supported in Prime Infra 2.2 is here
It does not show any Dell servers as being capable of managed by Prime Infra.
For non-Cisco devices, the doc titled Cisco Prime Network - Third-Party Device Management gives you insight into how non-Cisco devices may be managed within Prime Infra.
I hope this helps .... Palani

Hi Palani,
Thank a lot for your help. It helped me a lot.
But... is there possible way to monitor only the reachability of those servers by using ICMP services or other services in Prime Infra? Because I just need to monitor those servers are reachable or not.
Best Regards,
VT
