Hello,
I am running Cisco Prime Infrastructure 1.2 (yes! too old) with LMS 4.2
I have configured Cisco Prime to poll alarms from all the switches of the network and notify an external SCADA server. When Cisco Prime detects an alarm, It sends a trap to the SCADA server. This is working ok; however, What would occur if SCADA is down or turned off when Cisco Prime sends the traps?. When SCADA went up, It would not receive any trap, however switches would be still alarmed.
I think that there are two solutions, however I dont know if these solutions are configurables on Cisco Prime.
1. Configure Cisco Prime to notify Notifications Groups with traps each X seconds interval
2. SCADA send a poll SNMP trap to Cisco Prime and Cisco Prime answer with all the alarms
Are these two solutions configurables on Cisco Prime? How???????
Thank you so much!

Hi ,
I doubt any of the solution will help here.
1. Configure Cisco Prime to notify Notifications Groups with traps each X seconds interval :: this option I don't see in Prime as far as I know :(
2. SCADA send a poll SNMP trap to Cisco Prime and Cisco Prime answer with all the alarms :: Not possible
Manually we can forward the trap from Prime to SCADA when it is back.
Thanks-
Afroz
