Hello,
I am gonna be honest, I am a newbie when it comes to handling switches.
I have a Cisco SG350-28 28-Port Gigabit Managed Switch, when I connect a simple CAT5 cable to any of my computers, the connection is never detected. All I see on the Windows machine is "Network cable unplugged"
I have tried with three computers so far and with two different CAT5 cables.
Am I doing something wrong?
Is there a way to further diagnose this issue?
All I want to do is get into the panel.
Thank you in advance.

Have you done quick config (if this device is new)
if this switch new : here is the default IP address : ( until any one configured before and shutdown the ports)
If the switch is using the default static IP address of 192.168.1.254/24, you must choose an IP address for the computer in the range of 192.168.1.2 to 192.168.1.253 that is not already in use.
if none working above.
1. connnect console cable to switch. reboot and see is the switch booted completely ?

Thank you @balaji.bandi .
I will certainty try this tomorrow.
Unfortunately the switch is not new and the previous guy has done some important settings over it which I cannot afford to lose such as there are IP Cameras connected on the same switch.
Thank you for your help.
