Cisco switch SNMP trap example and testing

Trying to configure CPU/MEM/TEMP triggers on zabbix, based on SNMP traps. Based on regex match, while aready have linkup/linkdown configured.

Switches in deployment:

cisco WS-C3750X-48        15.0(1)SE           C3750E-UNIVERSALK9-M

cisco Nexus 5672UP    system: version 7.3(7)N1(1b)

Cisco SMB SG500....

Q1: Is there any way to send testing trap message from at least one switch model?

Q2: Is there any library with existing traps on mentioned devices/IOS versions? Or is this reference regarding all 12+IOS devices:

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/ip/simple-network-management-protocol-snmp/13506-snmp-traps.html

For example, on zabbix, i am receiving this trap from a 3SW stack:

  SNMPv2-MIB::snmpTrapOID.0      type=6  value=OID: SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.9.9.500.0.0.14
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.9.9.500.1.2.1.1.1.1 type=66 value=Gauge32: 1

regarding insufficient power on one of switches. On oid-info.com this is:

{iso(1) identified-organization(3) dod(6) internet(1) private(4) enterprise(1) 9 ciscoMgmt(9) ciscoStackWiseMIB(500) ciscoStackWiseMIBNotifs(0) cswMIBNotifications(0) cswStackPowerUnderBudget(14)}

Along with that trap i also receive:

  DISMAN-EXPRESSION-MIB::sysUpTimeInstance type=67 value=Timeticks: (1163376873) 134 days, 15:36:08.73
SNMPv2-MIB::snmpTrapOID.0 type=6 value=OID: SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.9.9.41.2.0.1
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.9.9.41.1.2.3.1.2.617459 type=4 value=STRING: "PLATFORM_STACKPOWER"
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.9.9.41.1.2.3.1.3.617459 type=2 value=INTEGER: 5
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.9.9.41.1.2.3.1.4.617459 type=4 value=STRING: "UNDER_BUDGET"
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.9.9.41.1.2.3.1.5.617459 type=4 value=STRING: "Switch 3 does not have sufficient power budget"
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.9.9.41.1.2.3.1.6.617459 type=67 value=Timeticks: (1163376872) 134 days, 15:36:08.72

These are whole varbinds, only thing i do not include are engineID,securityName etc.

Q3: Is the reason i received it in this form (::enterprises.9.9.500.0.0.14) because of that cisco is sending only full numeric OIDs and zabbix is missing MIB to translate specific trap (and managed to translate up to "enterprises" with avaliable mibs) or switch is missing related MIBs and therefore sending incomplete translated traps?

Not really. I wanted to know if there are aditional options for me, beside using SNMP agent, but probably not.

I used this URL for browsing and downloading mibs to zabbix:

https://bestmonitoringtools.com/mibdb/mibdb_search.php

and to help configure triggers for undefined traps and temperature traps

Monitoring CPU/MEM via SNMP agent after all.

I have glanced high level your questions - most of the them addressed here Follow below guide :
