Hi Team
Please answer to me considering i am a fresher working as a Network Engineer.
We have a switch which went offline at one of the site of our customer. based on our monitoring it went offline and but eventually it came a back online after a while .
I have checked the switch uptime , its more than an year . I cant seems to find any logs within the switch to why it went offline . can you please let me know what checks can i do remotely . Please answer considering i am a fresher still in learning phase

as per the information, the switch was up for several days, so this could IP connectivity issue between your NMS and device.
or as per the output device it self lost IP connectivity to reach other part of the network.
