Ciscoworks 3.2 Notification Failure

I got LMS 3.2 installed with DFM 3.2.0..

I have problem about the email notification.

I have configure the SMTP server and test by sending a report to my email. and it is works. so as i assume that, my email setting was good.

Thus, i configured the notification and test by lowing the threshold to create alert intends to make sure notification will be sent by email.

However, only DFM alert was occured but no email was received.

I am beginner in ciscoworks. I hope you guys can help by give me clues to solve this problems.

HI Saif,

Try the below steps and let me know how it works :

* stop the Daemon Manager ( net stop crmdmgtd)

* Took the backup of existing nos.jar from

NMSROOT\MDC\tomcat\webapps\triveni\WEB-INF\lib and replace with the one that is attached in the Patch .

* Took the backup of existing five class files( check the names from the Patch ) from

NMSROOT\MDC\tomcat\webapps\triveni\WEB-INF\classes\com\cisco\nm\trx\nos\server

and replaced new files

* Start the Daemons (net start crmdmgtd )

Note : You can download the Patch from cisco.com (CSCtg43956)
