Hi Cisco Team,
Dfm email alerts are not coming though it was configured properly.
Did a wireshark pcap and below is the info taken from wireshark.
Command: MAIL FROM:<itreports.alerts@mycompany.com>\r\n
Command: RCPT TO:<network.support@mycompany.com>\r\n
Response: 550 5.7.1 Unable to relay for network.support@mycompany.com\r\n
Response code: Requested action not taken: mailbox unavailable (550)
Response parameter: 5.7.1 Unable to relay for network.support@mycompany.com
Im able to telnet to smtp server on port 25.
ciscoworks ip and smtp server ip are in the same pvt ip range.
Can you pls help.

This seems to show that the smtp server is trying to push the mail.
Please check if the smtp server host name is correct in the log.

The default smtp server name, smtp server hostname and log's hostname are the same 'hm02sql01.xyz.com'
What else needs to be checked.

As LMS is able to send the email notification according to log. Are you sure your SMTP Server is entertaining it properly?
Can you use some freeware tool like blat.exe on the LMS server to try to send an email and see it works fine.
You can either download it from http://sourceforge.net/projects/blat/files/ OR it is usually present in Wind28K server @ C:\Windows\System32.
Check and shae updates.
