Is it possible using any module in CW to get the MAC address and IP address of all switchports on a 6500?

Nope, UT will find them. The end host component, UTLite, is only needed to provide Windows usernames to UT. Even without it, UT will find the MAC and IP.

If you mean obtain the MAC and IP addresses of end hosts connected to the switch, then, yes. The User Tracking module in Campus Manager does this.

Yes, that is exactly what i'm looking for, but the devices hanging off my switch are all servers. Will that pose any issues. My understanding was you need to have the user tracking piece on each machine to accomplish this.

Thanks,

Nick

Hi Nick, you need UTLite on the client for this.

I am not aware of other ways.

Great...let me give it a run...thanks for everyone's help.

Most importantly CW LMS is only up to 3.2.1 not 3.2.2.
