Hi,

I have a question about Syslog Report.

I need to run a report from february (4 months ago), but the purge syslog parameter was configured to 30 days. Due to this, I can not get a report from that date, but, if the syslog file still have the info, how could I get it ?? Is there any other tool to obtain that information ???

If the Syslog job is set to purge every 30 days, then you're out of luck. The purge job drops the syslogs older than 30 days from the database. If you have the syslog backup enabled, then you can read it in raw format using syslog viewer. You can't view it from the gui at all since your purge time is 30 days.

Just google "syslog viewer" and you will see multiple options available for free to download to view the syslog in raw format.
