Hi,
I have massive problems to get my baseline template (with prerequisite) working.
I want to change the description of all access ports of a switch.
Note:
The switch has both, access and trunk ports configured. I only want to change the access ports.
Thanks in advance,
Christoph

What does your template look like now? Please provide an XML export of the current template.

This will not work, unfortunately. The example in the baseline compliance section of the RME online help is misleading. You can currently not use baseline templates to change per-interface configuration based on per-interface prerequisites. This is being fixed in a future RME release.

Ahh,
I hope it will be fixed soon, because this is a very helpful feature.
Thank you.

Was there a bug id for this? Does this still hold true with RME 4.3.1 ? I note this post is a couple years old.

No, this bug is no longer applicable. This capability has been in RME since 4.1.
