Client Associations Inaccurate - Cisco Prime

Hi,

 

We are running 8504 WLC on 8.5.140.0  with Prime Infra on 3.7.0.0.159.

 

The number of client associations recorded by Prime appear inaccurate and when checking an AP in Prime, it will show a number of client associations that are over 4 months old.

Considering we are 5000+ APs deployed, this will skew the numbers.

 

Has any one ever experienced this? Is there a session time out we should be implementing to purge old associations?

Looking at each of our primary controllers, they show around 40k clients whereas Prime is recording them at 150k+
