nrcmd> server dhcp start

320 TRE_NOTLOADED - Bad id or server not loaded.

Which version of CNR and any OS changes recently?

If this is Linux run the following commands:

bash
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/opt/nwreg2/local/lib
/opt/nwreg2/local/bin/dhcp -v

(Change the path based on the installation if needed)

The dhcp -v will either work and display a bunch of version information
OR it will indicate that libraries are missing and which ones.

CNR version is 8.0

OS - rhel 6.2 (clean install)

many thanks.

your answer helped isolate the problem.

CNR needed openldap version 2.3, installed on the server version 2.4

downgrade these packages is not possible.

symlinks resolve the issue.
