Hy.
I've some devices, which configs won't be archived with failure Message ID CM0002.
- The devices are reachable!
- Devices aren't in suspended state!
- Credentials are all correct!
But these Devices won't be archived.
What can I do?

Version of CiscoWorks LMS?
Type of device you're having problems with?
Transport Protocol you're using? (SNMP, telnet, ssh, etc)

1. CiscoWorks Common Services 3.0.3
2. Campus Manager 4.0.3
3. CiscoView 6.1.2
4. Device Fault Manager 2.0.3
5. Internetwork Performance Monitor 2.6.0
6. Integration Utility 1.6.0
7. Resource Manager Essentials 4.0.3
The Device types are differing. Catalyst 6500, 6000, 4500, 4000, 3550, 2950 and 2900. But not every device of these types is haveing problems, just some.
Transport is Telnet/TFTP in both directions.

I had this problem as well. Goto RME, Administration, System Preferences, RME Device Attributes and change your SNMP timeout settings from the default 2 seconds to at least 10 seconds.

10 seconds SNMP timeout didn't solve the problem.
Any other suggestions? Please help!

Try increasing the value of your telnet timeout in addition to snmp.
Also, do you see the file comUser.dat in this directory:
CSCOpx\lib\classpath\

I've tried up to the maximum values without any success. :-(
Yes I can see the file 'comUser.dat'. What up with this file?
