Console LED is ON

Hi,

 

In our switch the Console LED is on, there is no active connections in the console port, but still LED is on.

 

Can someone help me out here ?

Console LEDs

The console LEDs show which console port is in use. If you connect a cable to a console port, the switch automatically uses that port for console communication. If you connect two console cables, the USB console port has priority.

Green

RJ-45 console port is active.

When this LED is on, the USB console port LED is off.

Off

The port is not active, and the USB console port is active.

USB console port

Green

USB console port is active.

When this LED is on, the RJ-45 console port LED is off.

The port is not active, and the RJ-45 console port is active.

Ethernet Management Port LED

What is the Model of the Device ? check any one pressed Mode button  ?

Balaji, the model is 2960-X Series. Not aware if anyone has pressed the mode button, as it is in central server room.
