Does anybody know if, when using LMS4, it's needed to register the applications in ACS as it was in earlier versions? I know the new version doesn't use the same application scheme as the old one, but I'd like to make sure. I guess this is done now using the built in Role Management setup, right?
Thanks in advance.
Pablo.

No, you are correct, it is not needed anymore to register LMS applications with ACS to get RBAC (role based access control) in LMS; the authorization is now part of LMS itself;
while it is not necessary, you can still use ACS for authentication (amongst some other mechanisms)
