Hi,

I got to Management Station this SNMP Trap from Cisco switch (management station has not a format for this trap):

NO TRAPD.CONF FMT FOR .1.3.6.1.2.1.17.0.2 ARGS(2): [1] private.enterprises.cisco.ciscoMgmt.ciscoStpExtensionsMIB.stpxObjects.stpxMSTObjects.stpxMSTInstanceTable.stpxMSTInstanceEntry.stpxMSTInstanceIndex.2 (Integer): 2 [2] mgmt.mib-2.ifMIB.ifMIBObjects.ifXTable.ifXEntry.ifName.234 (OctetString): 2/1

I try find a description of trap on Cisco web page MIB navigator, but after .1.3.6.1.2.1.17. goes 0 and navigator tells that it is not a valid.

Please, help me to explain this Trap.

Thanks

Peter

topologyChange OBJECT-TYPE

-- FROM BRIDGE-MIB

TRAP

DESCRIPTION "A topologyChange trap is sent by a bridge when any of its configured ports transitions from the Learning state to the Forwarding state, or from the Forwarding state to the Blocking state. The trap is not sent if a newRoot trap is sent for the same transition. Implementation of this trap is optional."
