Hello,
are there any plans to support the Nexus 5648Q in Cisco Prime Infrastructure? This model is not really new, but also with recently released device pack 3.1.3 it isn't supported in PI.
I'm asking for a customer which is currently using >15 of those switches.
Thanks in advanced!
Best regards
Phil

Cisco would have to say what their plans are but I've seen them be less aggressive in rolling out support for the data center equipment in PI. Their priorities are wireless and campus before data center from what I've observed.
I think they figure the target audience for Nexus gear is more of the DCNM customer. DCNM has supported that hardware since Release 7.1 (December 2015).
That said, the 5648Q was released in Spring 2015 so it's getting a bit overdue for PI support. You might drop an email to ask-prime-infrastructure@cisco.com to inquire. The Business Unit folks don't tend to monitor this forum.
