Within the DFM Event summuary I have entires, which when clicked on show no events.

Does this require a TAC case to access the DB to clear ?

Thanks

You are correct Jo. As though the alert is deleted but has left an indicator

Is your server integrated with ACS?  If so, do you see devices under Common Services > Device and Credentials > Reports > Devices not configured in ACS?  If so, then that could explain why DFM thinks it has active events for devices you cannot see.  Additionally, post the NMSROOT/log/dfmLogs/AAD/AAD.log.

We do not use ACS with Cisco Works, only with the relevant devices.

There are no relevant errors.  I imagine you just have some stale data in the EPM database.  You can reinitialize this database with the following command, and that should clear up the portlet:

NMSROOT/bin/perl NMSROOT/bin/dbRestoreOrig.pl dsn=dfmEpm dmprefix=EPM

Thanks Jo
