Error SNMP-MANAGEMENT AGENT LOST in Cisco Switch C9300,C9500,C9600

Hello everyone,

We're having an SNMP issue with some Catalyst switches. We get ''SNMP-MANAGEMENT AGENT LOST'' error and after some hours or days it was fixed automatically.

the whole config for snmp is correct and the other switches work without problem.

Can someone please tell me how can I fix it?

 - This looks more like a problem with your SNMP manager (management) software/tool ; you can for instance have a look at the logs  on the Cisco switches but even more from the SNMP manager itself,

what version of IOS XE Code ? where is your NMS / SNMP Server ?

3. sh snmp oid stats

I have no log in my switch. I'm getting an SNMP alert on the monitoring application (Spectrum).

yes, exactly.

Finally I reboot the switch and now the alarm is resolved and I should be monitoring it.

no, we have not.

Some of the SNMP process may have blown up.  This is a very common behaviour. 

Reboot the stack as a workaround or upgrade to a different firmware train, like 17.9.3.
