Factory Default 5508-x

Hi, Could somebody help with the commands to factory default a 5508-x, I have reset 5505s etc but never a 5508 and the commands seems slightly different. I have searched but cannot seem to find any documentation to help.

Do you have access to to console - then connect to console cable :

config t

!

config factory-default

once you have prompt back

reload

reload save-config noconfirm

Im in console as thats how I'd reset a 5505 for example but those don't seem to work for a 5508.

can you post show run - what error you getting ?

Options1 :

configure factory-default 10.1.1.151 255.255.255.0

Looking at it I am in the firepower CLi and not ASA CLi thats where the confusion is coming from, any ideas how I get out of this or reset firepower?

there is 2 options :

1. re-image the box with fresh firepower
