Hello,
Cry for help !!.
I have just inherited the support for our CiscoWorks server and it doesn't seem to be working.
When you launch anything that uses the ANI server it starts the "Connecting to ANI Server" gets about a 3rd of the way across the progress bar and stops
Any help most gratefully received

ani.log should tell you something.
There are several doc's on CCO to troubleshoot ANI.
Do search on CCO for this and mention the version of LMS or Campus to get the right procedures.
Cheers,
Michel

What version are you running?
What platform is it installed on?

Hi,
I have faced the same problem in the past and I fixed it by either of the following:
- Browser Java version may not be compatible, so try un-installing the one on the PC and then let Cisco Works automatically install the one it requires.
- From Cisco Works server, do the following CLI commands:
net stop crm dmgtd (stops daemon manager)
net start crm dmgtd (starts daemon manager)
Make sure that you read a bit more about these commands before using it.

Hi,
Problem solved, by default the server was set to use an obscure version of java, uninstalled this and installed the 1.4.xx variant , problem went away...
Thx to all.
