How to configure Access Rules on RV340W ?

Hi. I would like to start by seing I am a volunteer with a small non profit organisation. I am not a professionnal. Also, my english is average.

I need assistance with the firewall configuration of our new RV340W router. I have updated the router with the latest firmware.

The router work, but I would like to boost it's security. Could someone help me or provide me with a tutorial link ?

If I want to create a rule that block all outgoing connection on port from 1024 to 65535 and (I have only 1 LAN configured.) Right now the router connect to an ADSL modem trhough PPPOE. There no WAN2,  no USB plug used.

Will this work if I choose:

Rule enabled

Action: DENY

Service Highportcustom*

Source as Interface : ANY

Source Address ANY (or 192.168.1.x sub net)

Destination Interface WAN1

Destination Address ANY

*Highportcustom is a custom service I have define in service management as : TCP/UDP 1024-65535

Furthermoore, What the best way to choose all the local traffic (only 1 lan, no vlan for now) is it with any or should I use the subnet option in GUI configuration ?
