Invalid IP for this Subnet Mask Entered

Hi there, I'm a total beginner trying to assign my subnets a private network address with CIDR, but keep getting this error. Any reason why?

IPV4 address can not be 192.168.1.0  (this should anything between 1-254)  0 is network and 255 is broadcast.

example: 192.168.1.10
