Was in the middle of the IOS push on the switches and encounter one problem and i.e. on every switch I am receiving the error i.e. Device running-config is modified but failed to save the running-config to startup-config.Cause: TELNET: Failed to establish TELNET connection to 10.x.x.x -
Cause: Authentication failed on device 3 times.
Could not detect SSH protocols running on the device

And I am sure telnet is working becasue we run the NETCONFIG job first to put the SNMP RW community on the device.
Note:- We are pushing the .tar file and all the below  switches were 3560 24/48 ports
Below is the output of the Job

Not sure why it says that. According to the log the image distribution itself went fine.

You could now create a second job to sync the running conf to the startup. Or use the out-of-sync report to launch a sync

And a third job to restart the devices to use the new image if you are sure all is fine.

You may want to post the 1835.log as a zip file to look further into this.

Cheers,

Michel

So what actually failed? I get these issues sometimes as well. OP have you figured it out yet?
