Dears all,
We tried to move port to a VLAN from an another on the same switch evidently .
The JAVA applet is opened with menu where we can see the allocation of the port under the VLAN.
The IP@, device name, and everything is showed as well.
The only thing that i have noticed is the choice of the VLAN , when selected has been back up on the first menu descending.
In back, we 've got this kind of error ( see attachements). What it could be mentionned is that the new vlan is a Wireless vlan. Does it means that there is somme specific commands that we need to enter on switch port ?

You should start a sniffer trace filtering on SNMP traffic to this switch, then reproduce the error. The sniffer trace will indicate why the port move failed. It would also be helpful to see the running configuration from this switch.

Hello,
We are not sure that the access of the switch is running well.
How can we do it? Does a Java trace will be usefull for sniffing application events from the CAMPUS to the switch ?
Thanks
Richard

The sniffer trace will show you exactly what SNMP packets Campus is sending to the switch, and exactly what reply Campus sees (if any). This will certainly help in narrowing down the cause of the problem. You can use the Packet Capture tool in Device Center to do this.
